Privacy Policy
Budget 66 ("the app") is a personal budgeting and expense-tracking app. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how it's used.
Information we collect
- Account info: email address, name, and username, used to create and identify your account.
- Financial data you enter: transactions, budgets, subscriptions, and savings goals you add, stored so the app can show you your own spending history.
- Camera and photo library: only used when you choose to photograph or upload a receipt for transaction entry, or scan a friend's QR code to add them.
- Microphone: only used if you choose to dictate an expense by voice in the AI chat feature.
- Social features: if you add friends or join a group, your name and the budget percentages/streaks you choose to share become visible to those friends. You control what's shared per-friend in Settings.
- Push notification token: used to send you notifications you've opted into (reminders, friend activity).
- Purchase data: subscription status is managed by RevenueCat and the App Store; we don't see your payment details.
- Advertising: the free tier shows ads served by Google AdMob, which may use an advertising identifier per Apple's App Tracking Transparency rules.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't share your financial data with anyone except the friends you explicitly add and choose to share specific stats with.
- Camera and microphone access is never used for anything other than the specific feature you triggered it from.
Where data is stored
Your data is stored on our backend (Cloudflare D1) and is only accessible via your authenticated account.
Your choices
You can turn off any sharing setting, remove friends, delete individual transactions, or delete your account entirely from within the app's Settings.
